We all have fears since childhood that no matter how absurd they may sound, they are real, to the extent that they can generate traumas that we would never get out of.
Some people are afraid of clowns, others are afraid of the dark, even the fear of the sea is quite understandable, but personally, I must say that one of my biggest fears was swimming in a pool at night. I always thought it was an absurd fear, until I saw that there would be a horror movie about it.
Did you ever get the idea while swimming at night that there would be something underneath you? In the sea it’s more than understandable, because it’s a space we don’t control, but a pool is something we fill and can see. Except when it’s nighttime and we’re there.
This new horror movie will make you never swim in a pool again.
A former professional baseball player forced into early retirement due to a degenerative disease is the subject of Night Swim. Ray secretly hopes to return to professional baseball by moving into a new house with his worried wife Eve, teenage daughter Izzy and young son Elliot. Evie tells the kids that the sparkling backyard pool will be fun and therapeutic for him.
The movie would be based on a much shorter production we saw in the past and if you want to see it they are all over the internet. Just a way to get ready for the new horror movie that will be arriving on January 5th.
What do you think about it? Do you think it will be a new movie from the most famous horror producers? Do you have any other fears besides swimming pools? Without a doubt, horror films are one of the most interesting ways to talk about traumas and the things that scare us the most from day to day.
