Dua Lipa became one of the clearest examples of thriving in music after the British artist had to postpone three times her smash album, “Future Nostalgia,” she met success around the world because of her uniqueness. This time is no exception to the rule, as she debuted “Houdini” at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Dua Lipa talked in the latest “The Breakdown” episode about working on her new song, “Houdini,” and her creative process throughout this upcoming third album. She stated she spent so much time in Los Angeles, particularly in Tame Impala’s Kevin home studio.
During her convo, she revealed she worked on four different versions of the verses of her lead single, and she also ended up writing 97 songs. She continued by stating that “Houdini” like the rest of the album, took on more of a diaristic approach and sessions.
