On November 22, KST just a couple of hours after BigHit Music’s statement on Weverse regarding the remaining BTS member’s enlistment, Jungkook himself decided to address the situation with a heartfelt letter on Weverse.
The Golden Maknae started his letter by stating the wind has gotten colder as the end of November is approaching. So, he wanted to share his thoughts and emotions through a short letter to his fans, better known as ARMY.
The idol shocked everyone as he confirmed his new journey is coming in December as he is going to temporarily fulfill his military duties. Even though he is feeling so heavy writing this news, his heart is also filled with joy because of the amazing memories created in the last couple of months after the release of his hit album, “GOLDEN.”
Jungkook continued by thanking ARMY because of their constant support, and he is so thankful because they encouraged him to follow his dream and walk along with him during this amazing journey. He emphasizes he wants to be cautious about asking ARMY to wait for him until the end of his service because a year and 6 months is a long time, but he promises to come back to the stage as soon as he ends his military duties.
In addition, he asked ARMY to keep living with laughter and happiness and hopes their daily lives are going to be filled with health and beauty. He also stated he is going to miss them deeply, and cannot wait until the day they can meet each other again.
