GOT7 were one of the pioneers in the Kpop industry, who opened many doors to the next generations of idols in 2014. The group members are currently focused on their individual careers, as some members are fulfilling their duties with the South Korean army. However, they have continued to make an impact as a group. Member BamBam commented on how J.Y Park treated him shortly after their debut.
GOT7 managed to leave JYP Entertainment in 2021 and continue their success as a group like nothing happened. The boys’ departure was heaped with praise by the K-netizens because they were not completely happy about how JYP Entertainment treated their artists.
BamBam is currently hosting a YouTube show called, “Bam House” where he had J.Y Park as a special guest, and they both discussed several aspects of the Kpop industry. The announcement of the guest started as BamBam stated he considers J.Y Park his starting career point.
As the conversation kept its regular flux, BamBam surprised everyone with his declaration about the beginning of GOT7. He emphasized he was in charge of rap parts, and he confessed it was difficult because of his Korean language skills since he was born and raised in Thailand. The idol shared that at one point, J.Y Park told him that he wanted to throw him inside a trash bin.
BamBam’s statement left more than one outraged because the idol was only 16 at the time when GOT7 debuted back in 2014. J.Y Park received backlash on social media because he should have behaved better with the members of the band, particularly with BamBam who didn’t completely dominate the Korean language.
