Park Seo Joon became one of the most acclaimed actors after his groundbreaking role in “Parasyte” released in 2019. This particular movie opened the doors for the actor overseas. He was even confirmed to make a cameo during “The Marvels” movie, however, things didn’t work out as his fans thought they would.
“The Marvels” was released in South Korea on November 8. Seo Joon’s fans couldn’t wait any longer to watch their favorite actor on the small screen, which created high expectations around the film. The fans met disappointment after the actor only appeared for around five minutes during the movie.
Park Seo appears as Yon, who plays the role of Atla’s prince. After almost one hour, Yon appears in a flashback scene interacting with Captain Marvel by having a good time together, singing and dancing. Despite the cameo hitting the nail on the head, some K-Netizens were expecting something completely different from Park Seo’s cameo.
The beloved actor appeared in another scene where Yon leads his army into battle, and he briefly showcased his action skills by wielding a sword twice. However, the scene got abruptly cut, and the fans were simply waiting for more.
Previously, Nia DaCosta, “The Marvels” director described Park Seo Joon’s role as Yon as “Short but impactful” during a press conference in South Korea. The fans highly disagreed with Nia’s statement because Seo Joon just appeared five minutes, and it wasn’t an otherworldly thing.
