EXO‘s D.O. is widely popular after he released his album, “Expectation” on September 18, 2023. The idol has increased his popularity, particularly because he is set to take legal action against Internet trolls and haters who send offensive messages or spread misinformation in order to protect and defend other idol’s reputations
The Idol has started a new chapter in his life along with his agency, Company Soosoo. They both surprised the K-Netizens by announcing plans to take legal action against those who taint the idol’s reputation unfairly. On November 6, the Company Soosoo released an official statement on social media explaining why they took those actions as an important measure.
Soosoo also asked EXO’s fans, better known as EXO-L to report any malicious comments they come across, and they should stand up for their artist’s rights by legally addressing rumors, misinformation, and illegal activities.
The detailed statement started by announcing they are trying to protect the company’s artists from false information, slander, and harm on social media. If the fans see harmful posts or comments that might taint the idol’s reputation, they must report them to their email in order to follow up legally. Soosoo emphasizes they are going to protect their artists and take legal action against those who want to harm them.
Undoubtedly, EXO’s D.O. and Company Soosoo are addressing one of the most controversial matters to the K-Netizens. Some are constantly offensive comments on social media to many of their beloved idols, and to date, barely any legal action has been taken.
