According to the chart, Jungkook’s album had already sold a record-breaking total of 2,147,389 copies in just one day, making it the first album by a solo artist ever to sell 2 million copies within the first day of its release.
Those records were previously held by BTS’ V whose debut album, met success in the Hanteo charts by selling 1,672,138 copies on its first day and 2,101,974 in the first week of release.
