We are about to reach one of the most desired times of the world and of course it is Christmas, the time of the year that unites families and brings together people from all over the world with good wishes and lots of love, making Christmas the perfect time of the year.
Christmas brings a lot of love and happiness, so of course a horror movie is all we need to complement it and Kit Harington knows it, so he is willing to star in an alternate history for our Christmas season.
Kit Harington stars in a new Christmas horror movie.
According to Deadline, adapted by Mark Gatiss, A Ghost Story for Christmas will have Harington playing an Oxford athlete who suspects that Egyptology student Edward Bellingham, played by Freddie Fox, is conducting experiments to revive an Egyptian mummy in his possession, called Lot No. 249, and send it to attack his enemies.
“It is a great pleasure for me to delve once again into the brilliant work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this time for the story of the Christmas ghost,” said Gatiss.
Lot No. 249, which was written in 1892 for Harper’s Magazine, is the second Doyle work to be adapted by Gatiss after the Sherlock series, which aired on BBC and PBS.
Lot No. 249 will be broadcast on BBC Two over Christmas. A premiere date has not yet been set for Spain, Latin America and other countries, but it is estimated that it will be public by Christmas.
The Christmas horror we all need.
Undoubtedly, the fact that a horror production arrives for Christmas excites everyone, since every year there are productions alluding to the date that excites the entire audience, and it is expected that Kit’s new film will be no exception and will scare everyone.
