Okay, Swifties and Grime fans, time to get ready for some major tea! Have you ever imagined Taylor Swift making some moves in the political arena? Well, our alternative pop queen Grimes totally has, and she dropped a bomb on X (also known as Twitter) stanning Tay-Tay and her possible presidential run for the United States. Don’t belive us? Here’s what she said:
“In many ways Taylor Swift is the only presidential candidate who can unite the country.”
Grimes kept spilling that real tea, saying that celebs with zero politics on their résumé are not a new thing in the White House. As if that wasn’t enough, she also stated that Donald Trump facing off the “Shake it Off” hitmaker could totally be the ultimate drama in another galaxy, like right now!
“Trump v Swift is totally occurring in a parallel universe rn,”
We’re totally vibing with Taylor Swift getting elected as the next President of the United States. Just picture it: some of that “Look What You Made Me Do” diva magic, making moves in the Oval Office. But hold up, before we get too excited: Tay-Tay is currently extremely busy being Travis Kelce’s new boo and smashing the box office (and stadiums) with “The Eras Tour.” But here’s the saddest part: there’s that tiny issue of her being a year short of the presidential requirement. All candidates must be 35 or older, and she’s just about to serve us 34 candles on her bday cake this December.
I guess we’re going to have to stick to pop stardom for now with Tay, which is still very good! “The Eras Tour” has already broken sales records in different cities, and the concert film is on the way to becoming the most successful and highest-grossing one, even surpassing pop king Justin Bieber and his 2011 “Never Say Never” movie.
For now, we’ll be able to get that Taylor Swift tea as the NFL keeps focusing on Travis Kelce’s games, and, of course, on the big screen with her movie.
By the way, we didn’t forget about Grimes’ tweet, so get all eyes here:
