October anime season got off on the right foot, animes like Spy x Family, Dr.Stone, and Shield Hero made their highly anticipated comeback this month – and fans are loving it! Now, there are some details you should know about. In case Spy x Family is your new major obsession: the animated series is coming shorter this season.
The anime that tells the story of our adorable Anya debuted with 25 episodes, which were broadcast in two parts. However, this time around the show is going to have fewer episodes, with only 12 being confirmed as of now. Sadly, season 2 is gonna have just half the episodes the previous arc had.
So, if we take all of those things into consideration, the last episode would be airing (or available for streaming for us Westerns) on December 23. Of course, this schedule might be subject to changes in case something comes up, but we think that’s not really likely to happen.
So here’s the Spy x Family agenda for you to mark your calendar:
Episode 1 — October 7.
Episode 2 — October 14.
Episode 3 — October 21.
Episode 4 — October 28.
Episode 5 — November 4.
Episode 6 — November 11.
Episode 7 — November 18.
Episode 8 — November 25.
Episode 9 — December 2.
Episode 10 — December 9.
Episode 11 — December 16.
Episode 12 — December 23.
But fear not! The Spy x Family content will not stop as easy as that. Remember the “SPY×FAMILY CODE:” is hitting movie theaters on December 22 in Japan, so it’s just a matter of time for the West to get an actual release date.
In the meantime, you can still enjoy Spy x Family on Crunchyroll while it is simulcasted. It’s pretty clear the anime is a fan-favorite this season, battling Jujutsu Kaisen and Dr.Stone for the top-viewing spots.
