Superhero movies have proven to us time and time again that money is not everything, and even though many productions have a big budget, it does not mean that they are of good quality and this has been proven many times, especially with productions that have made almost nothing back at the box office.
Despite the bad reputation that superhero movies are having lately, the plans of the productions to continue releasing this kind of movies has not been modified, and there is still a list of upcoming movies to be seen and one of them is The Marvels.
The Marvels is the cheapest movie in the UCM
When the internet found out that The Marvels would be coming, it faced a question, since many do not know whether to trust the new proposals that Marvel and Disney bring, and now it has worried more after learning that it is the cheapest superhero movie that the production company has made.
A report from VF indicates that The Marvels received around $130 million, while Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 received between $200 million and $250 million.
Recall that Disney’s Bob Iger has recently proposed that Marvel Studios adopt a more economical strategy for its future productions.
It has been reported that The Marvels will have a running time of approximately one hour and 38 minutes, in addition to the budget. Proving that the changes in the movies are real, since lately, superhero movies were reaching almost 3 hours in length.
