When it was made public that there would be a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II due to the anniversary of her funeral, it was not known exactly who would attend and of course the name of Prince Harry began to sound putting in doubt if he would attend.
Despite all the rumors about his attendance, the prince shocked everyone by showing up and traveling from the United States to pay tribute to his grandmother.
Prince Harry traveled from the United States to England to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
Although he was invited to the WellChild Awards, of which he is an investor, Prince Harry decided not to miss the anniversary of his grandmother’s death and made a private visit to St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
Likewise, after the visit, Prince Harry attended the award ceremony where he said a few words about his late grandmother:
“As you are aware, I was unable to attend the past awards because my grandmother passed away, She would be the first to tell me to come back here with you all instead of being with her. So I know that one year after her death, she is happy that we are together awarding such an incredible community as the English one”.
Once again the prince has shown that despite being estranged from his family, in the end they are still family and will count on him when they need him, just as he attended the coronation of his father, King Charles, last May 6.
