Netflix’s vast foreign catalog is no joke for sure. The platform has K-Dramas and other Korean series being played on repeat on small screens all over the world. Thanks to this, it is no surprise that they take the platform by storm and get tons of viewers and fans along the process, so this time we will be talking to you about two acclaimed K-Dramas that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The surge of on-demand streaming services implies that series aficionados get to binge-watch their favorite shows whenever they would like. Netflix, specifically, has a couple of series that are creating a lot of buzz, and we will be giving the spotlight to two of them. You will probably fall in love with these shows, so don’t say we didn’t warn you!

‘The Good Bad Mother’

‘The Good Bad Mother’ is a very popular K-Drama on Netflix, and it was released just a few months ago, in April 2023. This 14-episode series stars South Korean actors Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun. The captivating story revolves around Young Soon, a single mother raising her son, Kang Ho, all on her own. As a result, the woman adopts a strict parenting style, which provokes his son to feel resentment and rejection towards his mom as a grown-up. Suddenly, an unexpected accident brings the young man back to live with his mom, and this turns their lives upside down.

‘Mask Girl’

This series run for a total of just 7 episodes and have obtained considerable attention by ranking millions of views on Netflix. Among the cast, you will be able to see actors Go Hyun Jung, Ahn Jae Hong, and Yum Hye Ran. This show tells the story of Kim Mo Mi, a young woman who has dreamt of acting since childhood. However, she has not been able to achieve her dream due to her being unconfident regarding her looks as she grew up.

Because of this, once her day-time job is over, she goes home and puts on a mask to start a live stream. One of her colleagues becomes obsessed with her masked persona and will do anything to try to discover her true identity. This will make both characters get involved and unexpectedly twist the story-line.
