Both King Charles III and Camilla Parker are worried because of the forest fires in Canada. This situation became one of the worst forest fires in the American continent, which led to the loss of multiple hectares of forest.
Those hectares of forest play a key role in the environment of the whole globe and this could bring atrocious consequences such as a long-term temperature rise. Canadian media outlets reported they had to evacuate more than 20,000 people from Yellowknife because of the multiple forest fires. On top of that, there have been 5,738 forest fires of which 1,054 were active last week according to Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre Inc.
Camilla Parker has always shown her support for environmental causes, and this tragic news regarding the Canadian forest was something that deeply affected the queen. The monarchs of the United Kingdom probably are going to send humanitarian help in order to counteract the difficult situation the country is facing.
