BTSJungkook has broken numerous records with his debut single, ‘Seven’ featuring Latto which was released on July 14. The song met both critical acclaim and success and it is reported he tied another historical record for the K-pop scene on Billboard Global 200.

‘Seven’ is still one of the most popular songs in the music industry nowadays. It became a global phenomenon that already surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify and keeps rising in other streaming platforms and sales around the world. ‘Seven’ shows Jungkook’s promising future in the K-pop landscape because of the warm welcome he received as an artist.

Billboard magazine reported that the Golden Maknae already tied another unique record for the K-pop solo acts. Jungkook has spent four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Global 200 tying with BTS’ song, ‘Dynamite’ as the K-pop song with the most weeks at the top of the chart.

Undoubtedly, Jungkook outsold his competition with ‘Seven’ and it is expected he breaks more records not only with his single but with his album once it is released. These records demonstrate Jungkook’s influence both in the American and global scene.
