Billy Porter lashes out at Harry Styles for his Vogue cover.
Vogue is such an iconic fashion magazine that they can have any celebrity they want on the cover and in this case it was Harry Styles who starred in a very interesting photo shoot, but apparently Billy Porter didn’t agree with the decision made by the executives.
Actor and singer Billy Porter has become the first black man belonging to the LGTBI community to win an Emmy award, so each of the words he expresses become a total trend in the networks, just like now when he expressed that Harry Styles was stealing the limelight to his community to elevate himself.
“He’s white and straight, that’s why he’s on this Vogue cover. It’s not binary, I don’t think it’s right that he’s using my community (or your people are using my community) to elevate you, you haven’t had to sacrifice anything,” were the artist’s words.
Apparently his confrontation was because he had spoken to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour about using the power of Vogue to elevate the voices of leaders, and just six months later Harry was on the cover of the magazine.
