Rauw Alejandro has sparked some controversy after his breakup with Rosalía. The artist released a song for Rosalía which was highly criticized by Rolling Stone magazine, stating he didn’t need to share his Rosalia breakup song with the entire world.
The magazine harshly criticized the Puerto Rican artist because of the release of ‘Hayami Hana’ making comments such as “We could’ve all lived without it” The song was released two weeks after the after the couple confirmed their split online. On July 26 Alejandro described his relationship as the “most real love story God allowed me to live.” through an Instagram story.
The harsh comments from the magazine caused a negative reaction among Rauw’s fans and the general public, who highlighted the lack of professionalism from the writer of the article. They stated that the writer in the magazine is xenophobic and has little tolerance.
Despite the negative comments from the general public, Rolling Stone has not taken down their article or addressed the situation to clarify what happened but it is expected for the article to be removed from their official website in order to respect Rauw Alejandro’s song and artistry.
