The 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike seems to have no ending, and numerous media outlets unveiled an important event that might be compromised because of the delays and cancelations of multiple movies and series. The Emmy’s logistic postponed their event to a later date because of the emerging of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. According to Variety: The 75th Prime-time Emmys have been postponed from September 18. This marks the first time since the Emmys have been postponed since 2001 because of the 9/11 terrorist attacks that pushed the Emmy ceremony into November.
Movie critics and media outlets speculated a new date might be unveiled during August. However, there’s not any statement from the Emmys which could stop the broadcasting of the prestigious ceremony. This makes fans around the world completely worried if the ceremony ends up being canceled.
This is not the only event that has been directly affected after the strike took over red carpets and promotion of new movies premiered during the strike.
