Prince Harry’s unfortunate chain of events hasn’t halted after the London High Court dismissed his declarations against the British tabloids. Allegedly, they reduced considerably his possibilities of winning the trial and must find alternatives to convince the jury during the next couple of months.

The Duke of Sussex’s long-standing legal battle against British tabloids such as ‘The Sun’ didn’t have the outcome he was waiting for., as Judge, Timothy Fancourt, concluded that Prince Harry’s accusations have inconsistencies. This is because he was aware of the alleged hacking of his privacy since 2012, and he could not rely on the accusations further into the case.

Previously, Prince Harry faced six legal battles against the British tabloids, directly accusing the royal family of helping tabloids to get private information from him. They were solely based on his declarations in his memoir, Spare, released on January 2023.

“To hold people to account for what they have done, so that they can’t hide behind their own institution or organization. I’m determined to get to the bottom of it once and for all. Members of the Royal Family get cast into a specific role by the tabloid press

The judge highlighted the  “lack of credibility” and “the improbability of a secret agreement being made” between the British tabloids and the British monarchy to attack Prince Harry. Based on the current situation, the prince must present other declarations against the British tabloids in case he wants to keep the lawsuit, which has become the latest low blow for Harry.
