Nowadays, it is completely normal for world-class artists to reveal “dark secrets” about their life, whether is a painful situation or confessions about the consumption of drugs, as has been the case of Demi Lovato. The artist revealed that she currently presents complications with her vision and hearing, due to an overdose she had in her past.
At least, this is what she implied in the podcast “Andy Cohen Live” of the SiriusXM program, where the singer confessed that she is going through strong sequels of vision and hearing, due to the hallucinogens she took during her “young and ignorant” version, which have led her to reflect and decide not to take this kind of drugs again. “Every time I look at something, blind spots appear in my sight, when I look at your face, this is what makes me stay on the right path,” Demi revealed.
According to the singer, her first overdose occurred in 2018, she also confessed that she had a heart attack and other respiratory problems, but what surprised the interviewer was when she assured that she did not regret having taken drugs, since this helped her reflect on her life and taught her the right path.
