The fans of BTS, the so-called ARMY, are currently gaining a lot of attention on social media due to an ongoing internal conflict in regard to the way the South Korean boyband’s management agency, BigHit Music, favors some of the members, more specifically Jungkook.
Over the past few days, Jungkook has been the victim of several attacks from his own fans and he has been accused of copying the aesthetic of one of his bandmates with his upcoming debut single ‘SEVEN’ as it is very similar to Jimin’s debut album, ‘FACE.’
To make things worse, the ARMY is also showing their discontent with the group’s management agency, BigHit Music. According to them, the company’s favoritism with Jungkook is clear as his project has gotten more promotion and attention than any other project by the rest of the members of BTS.
As a result, there are currently a lot of heated discussions inside the ARMY fandom due to the constant attacks against Jungkook and BigHit Music. Some of them are saying that this is just ridiculous and that they should be supporting BTS as a whole to ensure that all of its members are successful.
“There is nothing wrong with Jungkook copying Jimin because they respect each other. Every member has their style and even if it is just a coincidence, there is no need to publicly attack them.”
Even if some of the ARMY is trying to solve the internal conflict, it will not be an easy job as the fandom is currently split due to the way BigHit Music has handled the solo projects of the different members of BTS. Perhaps, this will bring awareness to this issue and they will all get the same opportunities.
