BARBIE 2′ is already in discussions with the return of Margot Robbie as the protagonist and Greta Gerwig as director.
Barbie is about to be released worldwide and everyone is excited to see this new proposal of the most beloved figure for all children, Barbie. Now, there could be a second installment with the return of Margot and Greta.
The actress who brought the Mattel doll to life, recently appeared on the cover of TIME magazine, along with several fellow cast members and even the film’s director, Greta Gerwig.
Margot was interviewed by the media in question, and gave statements that excited many of the fans who are still waiting for the big release of the movie ‘Barbie’. At some point Robbie was asked if it is possible a future installment of the expected live action.
“I think you fall into a bit of a trap if you try to prepare a movie at the same time you’re planning its sequel,” Robbie replied. Likewise, she revealed that she has already been involved in several discussions about the future of Barbie, which could give the possibility if the cinematic experience she will give next month in theaters is the right one.
The actress also confirmed that the film could go in a million different directions, as of this moment, which gives us to understand that the film will leave a number of paths open to follow after its completion.
