“Sober dancing is a terrible idea“, Prince William embarrassed with his dance moves he performed at his father King Charles III‘s coronation concert on May 6th, in an iconic video resurfaced on the TikTok social network.
The scene of the video happened when Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton attended their first garden party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate their new titles of Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. Where we can see the heir to the throne talking to the public that was outside the gardens.
Dressed in an elegant suit, some people in the audience asked the prince about the concert, to which he responded positively that everything had gone well, after which the royal fans present told him that they had seen him dance at the concert. Remember that during the live television broadcast, the Prince and Princess of Wales appeared dancing with their children, while Katy Perry was performing.
In the funny TikTok video, William is seen shaking hands with party guests before the subject of his dance moves came up.
The woman who was filming the prince asked him, “Did you love the concert?” To which William replied, “Yes, thank you“, followed by the woman saying, “We’ve seen you dancing on TV“. The Prince of Wales proceeded to demonstrate the embarrassment he felt from those dance steps with a funny grimace and replied, “Oh no. That wasn’t a dance. As you know dancing sober is a terrible idea. But it was a fun weekend“.
