Prince Harry has never suffered from money problems, since he was part of the royal family all his life until he decided to defect to live in the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle. Despite no longer enjoying the money from the crown, the prince has been able to generate extraordinary income, but now, apparently, Prince Harry is having problems with his business plans.
Once Prince Harry moved to the United States, he wasted no time to generate money, as he quickly created a documentary for Netflix where he talked about his life in the royal family and after that, he had the publication of his successful book Spare, so he has shown that he has been able to make money outside the crown.
Unfortunately, it seems that the prince is going through problems in his business, remember that recently it was announced the cancellation of the contract they had with the Spotify platform. Some reports indicate that the contract was canceled apparently due to non-compliance by the duke and duchess, however, nothing has been confirmed.
According to the Daily Mail and documents to which this British media had access from the US Patent and Trademark Office, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tried to patent the exclusive rights to the word “Archetypes” (the name that was chosen for the actress’s podcast) so that they could take the same name to other platforms and not start a new business from scratch, since being related to the same brand would make recognition easier.
Unfortunately, their application was rejected, as everything indicates that this word had already been previously registered by an Arizona firm, which sought to obtain the full rights in 2015, being this a big problem for their business model.
