The new DC movie has disappointed its viewers, fans and filmmakers who have assured that the movie ‘The Flash‘ has the worst CGI effects of recent times among other criticisms that have led it to be a box office failure.
In the United States the new production of the superhero franchise grossed a sum of $55 million during its first weekend in theaters, being a very low amount for what Warner Bros. estimated.
This failure is not only due to the numerous criticisms for the CGI effects or the unjustified cameo of some characters and the controversies caused, but also for DC’s problem of focusing only on the same superheroes and deteriorating the content of their stories.
Many comic book fans have assured that the franchise has numerous interesting characters that could be a success on the big screen, however Warner is focusing on what the public already knows without any innovative touch, making the movie starring Ezra Miller a failure.
For its part, Hollywood is on alert with the decreases at the box office this summer, and the criticisms to Warner are not the only ones, as the latest Pixar movies in ‘Elemental‘ they use again the plot of humanizing objects, or ‘Transformers‘ releasing an “unnecessary” seventh installment, and ‘Fast and Furious X‘ which is on its tenth of the saga.
