Actors have always been known to take on long work days and very heavy jobs with the intention of giving us the best possible product on screen, but sometimes, it’s necessary for them to give themselves a break from the madness of Hollywood. Now, Tom Holland will be taking a one year break from acting and questions whether he will be part of the new Spider man movie, where he is starring.
Tom Holland, has revealed in his most recent interview, that he will be retiring from acting for at least a year, after filming the Apple TV series ‘The Crowed Room’.
Tom Holland commented that the Apple TV series took too much out of him, as it was chaotic and very difficult for him, due to the great physical toll it took on him. It was so much effort involved in the project, that he has decided to take a break from the cameras.
It was through People magazine that he talked about his break and his relationship with the Apple TV series, above all, the reasons for the decision:
“It was quite a difficult time in my career We were exploring different emotions never before experienced. Being a producer and dealing with the day-to-day issues that come with any film set just added that extra level of pressure,” he explained in People.
“Now I’m taking a year off and it’s a result of how hard it was to shoot this series. There came a point where I thought, ‘I need to take a break.’ I’m excited to see the result, I’m confident that our work wasn’t in vain.”
And about the doubts of whether he will be part of Spider-Man 4, the answer is yes.
In a past interview, the actor assured that there is still some time to go before filming begins, since the script for this new installment is not yet ready.
