Prince William and Kate Middleton recently traveled to Amman, Jordan to attend Prince Hussein’s royal wedding. However, the international media was able to capture a controversial moment where William was rude towards Kate and the video is currently going viral on social media.
Prince Hussein, heir to the throne of Jordan, married architect Rajwa AI Saif on June 1 at the Zahran Palace. In addition, several royals from all around the world, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, attended the ceremony to strengthen the ties with the Arab nation. However, there was an awkward moment between the British royals during the event.
Once the ceremony was over, Kate approached Rajwa to congratulate her on the wedding and had a small chat with her. After a while, William got closer and whispered “Chop, Chop” which is a common British expression to tell another person to hurry up, basically telling his wife to wrap up her conversation.
Although Prince William did not mean to be rude, several people online are calling out his behavior and attitude towards Kate Middleton. Even if they were in a rush, he should have handled the situation in a more polite way as they were in front of the cameras.
