Since BTS announced his temporal hiatus, Suga has been working on his solo stage before getting enlisted in the military service as some of his groupmates did. Now he is promoting his solo debut album, ‘D-Day‘, with a tour that was a total success in the first stage in the United States.

The recognized work of the rapper, since his debut with the K-Pop group in 2013, has given him great opportunities with brands worldwide, so today the artist is working with the magazine Marie Claire Korea on his new edition.

For the launch of the new edition alongside BTS’ Suga, he gave them an interview in which the artist expressed his past, his solo career, and the humility that has always characterized the group. However, the rapper also opened up about what represents to be a K-Pop idol from his point of view.

I am an idol, and I am very proud of it. Of course, I could have said nonsense before, but now the word idols is like a badge of honor for me“.

People’s perception changed a lot recently, and I think BTS contributed to it. Most of today’s idols are just really good. That’s the level idols are at this moment. Not only are they good-looking, but they are also good at dancing, singing, rapping, and even acting. They may not be particularly strong musicians, but it changes your perspective, and they are musicians without any defects“.
