The second member of the popular group BTS to launch his solo career after J-Hope, the well-known singer RM, released his debut album in 2022. The rapper, who is also regarded as the leader of BTS, has drawn criticism for all the records his album has broken, but he has only been focused on his upcoming musical endeavors in an effort to stay away from the controversies sparked around him.
The musician, whose song “Smoke Sprite” won the hearts of his fans, spoke during a live broadcast about his upcoming military enlistment and how he will do it with his partner J-Hope. He also said that he had been delaying this duty because he was still working on other projects that required time, but that these would be released in 2019 once he had finished his military service.
All of the ARMYs were initially overcome with sadness as they struggled to accept the rapper’s sudden departure, but they were also excited as new music and songs were revealed. The song “Don’t Ever Say Love Me” was RM’s most recent release, and many of his fans believed it to be his last before enlisting. However, the song’s surprise release led many of his followers to believe otherwise.
The singer’s future will soon be known, thus the ARMYs are eagerly awaiting any new information from him and BTS.
