King Charles III was highly criticized by his sister Princess Anne who admitted that she does not agree with Charles’ decision-making and that there are things that she would definitely do in a different way.
Anne recently gave an interview with Adrianne Arsenault from CBC News. There, she was questioned about his brother’s ideas regarding the role of the royal family in the United Kingdom, more specifically about the topic of a reduced monarchy, just before the coronation and she did not hesitate to share her opinion about it.
“It doesn’t sound like a good idea from where I’m standing. My mother didn’t change very much. We kind of knew what the rhythm of the year was. So that will, things like that will change. How we are part of the support for the monarchy may change slightly, who knows.”
Anne’s declarations are aligned with what an anonymous source has previously shared with the Evening Standard. According to them, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s announcement of giving up on their royal titles was only the beginning of t King Charles III’s plan to reduce the monarchy and the costs it generates.
According to People magazine, Charles and Camilla Parker might also want to reduce the number of butlers in Buckingham Palace and they are allegedly looking to motivate the staff with salaries and retirement plans to foster an environment of competition.
