Meghan Markle has recently been in the spotlight of various British media outlets after she declined King Charles III’s invitation to attend his coronation on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. The Duchess of Sussex’s family has now chosen to speak to the television media about their relationship with her, adding yet another layer of controversy to her life.
In order to meet his grandkids, Princes Archie and Lilibeth, Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, reportedly admitted that he wants nothing more than to mend fences with his daughter.
Thomas did not just express fond memories and well wishes; he also reprimanded Meghan for lacking empathy and communication in the wake of all the drama and accusations she had to deal with at the time. According to Thomas, who spoke to 7 News, “If she doesn’t show up for a stroke, if that doesn’t move her, what will?”
Moments before Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, Thomas was reportedly accused of posing for the paparazzi and making a private letter public, shattering the father-daughter relationship.
Now, along with his half-siblings, Mr. Markle has agreed to produce a documentary in which he shares various details about Meghan Markle’s past. In fact, there are even clips in which Mr. Markle shows how close he was to his daughter before she met her fiancé and joined the royal family in 2018.
Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Jr., her half-siblings, also added a few words to their criticism of Meghan, accusing her of leaving her father to his fate. “You must ask yourself, “Why am I treating my father this way? He shouldn’t be denied access to his daughter, in my opinion. I’m sad about him.
Assuring the Duchess of Sussex that she would be losing something valuable, they added, “Someday Meghan will realize that she is losing a great family, we are together all the time, no matter what.
Additionally, they asserted that Meghan simply woke up one day and decided she had no family and that their father Thomas did nothing wrong in response to the accusations leveled against him in 2018.
