Prince William and Kate Middleton are widely considered one of the most popular couples in the United Kingdom. Despite the recent scandals about Prince William’s alleged affairs and a possible divorce, the couple has proven everyone wrong by being united and by doing something that not every royal member would do.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales have decided to join the South Wales Dales Mountain Rescue Team, demonstrating that they can do anything and that their goal in life is to set an example in helping others.
The future monarchs of the United Kingdom celebrated the 60th anniversary of the rescue team and many people were surprised by the royal couple’s display of agility and skill. However, Kate reminded William that caution was needed above all else, “We’re not racing.”
Both of them also participated in a casualty rescue simulation in which Middleton had to use the radio to look for help. “Have you got everything on the list?” She laughed and added: “It’s like calling him about the weekly shopping.”
By joining the team, Prince William and Kate Middleton demonstrated that they are good at sports and enjoy doing extreme activities which many members of the royal family would not do. Most importantly, they also showcased their willingness to learn new things to help others.
