King Charles III has reportedly prepared a side event for the people who did not make the cut in the official guest list for the coronation. The ceremony will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey and it’s shaping up to be the biggest event of the year.
Despite the multiple controversies and rumors regarding the financing of King Charles III’s coronation, Charles himself decided to reduce the list of attendees from almost 2000 people to 1000. However, the King has planned another great event for the people who were originally invited but who did not make the cut in the latest revision of the list.
This event is not going to be as big as the coronation because Charles is looking to reduce costs. The side event will take place on May 5, one day before the official ceremony. King Charles III and Camilla Parker are going to host the party at Buckingham Palace.
Although Charles said that he wanted to have a cheaper ceremony compared to the one that Queen Elizabeth III had, it is now being reported that the coronation ceremony and the side event are going to be more expensive than his mother’s coronation almost 70 years ago.
