Queen consort Camilla Parker finally managed to eliminate the title of consort to be officially the Queen of the United Kingdom, achieving the same rank of power of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Camilla Parker Bowles will be crowned next to her husband King Charles III on May 6th of this year. Some 2,000 guests close to the royal family and friends will be able to witness the moment when she changes her royal title to be fully “Queen“, the act she always sought since she began her relationship with King Charles III.
After marrying King Charles, causing an infidelity in the relationship with Princess Diana, Camilla assumed the royal title of Duchess of Cornwall previously held by the Duchess of Wales, Princess Diana. But when the king managed to climb a little more towards the throne, her royal titles were also changing.

As the monarch had hoped, after his mother’s death in September 2022, his wife officially became queen consort; however, the coronation invitation issued by Buckingham Palace officially refers to Queen Camilla Parker.
The fact of changing to the title of queen grants her a rank above the others and to have a voting voice with respect to England, and in case King Charles dies before her, it would be possible for her to be granted a different title, taking into account Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s ascendancy to the throne.
Although experts claim that she can never really be a queen, as she is not part of the bloodline of the British royal family and only her husband will be able to inherit.
