The main portals of Spain and the rest of the globe have been inundated with rumors that King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are divorcing. Following some contentious remarks made by journalist Pilar Eyre, the media started to circulate all the rumors that the marriage of the heads of state had already ended.
Pilar Eyre disclosed through her blog “Lecturas” that the kings and queens of Spain would have numerous arguments over the future college of their eldest daughter Princess Leonor as well as other marital issues.
Furthermore, it has been suggested that the King might have a mistress. However, since it has just been hypothesized through several theories, this hasn’t been verified in any way.
The King and Queen of Spain are reportedly alienated as a result of their numerous arguments about Leonor’s upbringing, as has been observed to some extent. So much so that they traveled to other locations throughout the Easter break, shocking numerous media outlets.
Expert royal house insiders, however, confirm that Queen Letizia has already responded forcefully to the rumors of a breakup with her husband, which feel more like a duty than a responsibility of her own.
The kings of Spain are not divorcing despite being in the conversation stage, according to the website “El Nacional de Cataluña.” Letizia is well aware of the motives, which would be related to the custody of their two girls.
It is mentioned in one of the agreements Felipe and Queen Letizia made when they got married 20 years ago that Leonor and Sofia would live in the palace with Felipe VI and have their individual custody. However, the queen really wants her two daughters to remain at her side until they reach adulthood or long after.
Due to their kids, who are the monarch’s first concern and whom she wishes to provide for to the best of her ability, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain would not be divorcing at the same time.
