It has been reported that Queen Consort Camilla Parker is inconsolable ahead of her trip outside the UK because she recently received heartbreaking news that could jeopardize her upcoming coronation.
Next to her husband King Charles III, Queen consort Camilla Parker is about to be crowned as the new monarch of the United Kingdom. Despite opposition to her coronation from the British people, who believe she should not hold that position due to her betrayal of Princess Diana, she has managed to deal with the situation, and each day brings her closer to the anticipated moment.
The Queen consort, however, is reportedly “devastated” by the shocking news she got, according to British sources. She might experience several weeks of grief after the passing of a very close relative, and it’s even been said that she might not be feeling well at her coronation.
Paul O’Grady passed away suddenly a few days ago at the age of 67, on March 28. Camilla Parker and many other royals were shocked by the news because of how close Paul was to everyone, providing happiness and priceless memories to all.
Over the years, Queen Consort Camilla Parker and Paul O’Grady forged a strong relationship that was strengthened by their shared love of animals. Both served as ambassadors for the charity “Battersea Dogs and Cats Home,” spreading the message that animals deserve better living conditions.
For her farewell, Camilla Parker communicated on Battersea’s official account:
“We are deeply saddened that our wonderful, kind friend, beloved ambassador Paul O’Grady passed away. He is greatly missed by all of us at Battersea. Our love and thoughts are with all of Paul’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
The news has caused a great deal of sorrow because Paul was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in 2008 by the then-Prince Charles.
