Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went through multiple controversies over the last few months and they completely cut ties with everyone at Buckingham Palace. Despite this, it was recently announced that the couple’s children were recognized as Prince and Princess by the royal family. To this day, It still remains a mystery whether they are going to attend King Charles III’s coronation on May 6 or not.
According to several sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they received an invitation to the event but they haven’t confirmed their attendance yet. It is being said that Harry has a set of petitions for his father and he must comply with them if he really wants them to attend.
Prince Harry’s demands include accommodation at Frogmore Cottage, security for his family, and the recognition of his children in royal matters. However, Buckingham Palace has not released any statement regarding the matter.
Harry himself has mentioned that he would like to make amends with his family but his actions show the opposite. Beyond the harsh comments in his memoir, Spare, the declarations in the last few months distanced him from everyone in the palace.
Albeit they might seem alone, the couple still has a solid relationship with Princess Eugenie who keeps a low profile regarding the controversies but she has always been a supporting friend with Harry and Meghan when they were at their worst time and are reportedly moving to the U.S. to be close to them.
