Much has been said recently about the controversy generated by Prince William and his infidelity towards Kate Middleton, but public attention is shifting to another issue that also concerns Prince William.
As context, Prince Harry, younger brother of Prince William, announced in early 2020 that he would be stepping down from his royal title with his wife, Meghan Markle, alleging abuse by members of the royal family, which was revealed in an interview in the United States with the famous presenter and socialite, Oprah Winfrey, shortly after making his retirement from the English crown official.
On January 10th, 2023, three years after leaving the royal family, Prince Harry released his long-awaited autobiographical memoir, entitled “Spare“, where he recounted a critical moment in his relationship with his older brother, Prince William.

According to his book, there was an instance in which Meghan Markle made an offensive comment towards Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, who had just given birth to Prince Louis a month ago. Meghan made this comment in a conversation with Prince Harry, stating that Kate had “baby brains“, referring to the fact that all she could think about was her newborn son.
William apparently misinterpreted the comment and pointed his finger in Meghan’s face, putting his finger very close to between her eyebrows, and loudly said “Rude“, in a confrontational manner, thinking Meghan had meant to say that his wife was dumb. Meghan responded by saying “Get your finger out of my face“, in self-defense. The event was just one of many clashes between the two members of the royal family, which caused the estrangement of the families in 2020.
