Jimin, the famous south Korean artist, and member of BTS addressed the critics that his new album, Face, has received in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
The artist started his solo career while some members of the boyband were fulfilling their duty as South Korean citizens as they enlisted in the military. His debut album was released on March 24 and it includes songs such as “Set Me Free pt. 2”, “Like Crazy”, “Alone” and “Face-off.”
Jimin started the promotional campaign for the album in the U.S. and he announced he would be the guest star in Jimmy Fallon’s show two nights in a row. The singer will also promote in Korea in the following weeks.
During the interview, Jimin not only discussed the album but also revealed details about being a member of BTS, who his closest friend is, and his favorite nickname. The fans, the so-called ARMY, were surprised and proud of the fact that the idol did the whole interview in English even though that’s not his first language.
Despite the fact that one of his songs was highly criticized due to its lyrics and negative slang, it seems Jimin does not pay much attention to the haters. He decided to focus on the positive comments and he showed himself very happy since it was his first solo interview abroad.
