Kate Middleton is promoting her campaign ‘Shaping us’ with which she aims to improve the quality of life of children in their early childhood. To discuss the issue, she met with the chief executive of the supermarket chain Iceland, Richard Walker, at a store in Aylesbury, in the county of Buckinghamshire.

With her hair loose and slightly side parted, dangling earrings and a very natural makeup, Kate Middleton talks about how companies can support children and their caregivers by laying the foundations of skills such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, flexibility or resilience, which companies look for in their employees and which are built in the early years of life.

One of Kate Middleton’s big driving themes is everything to do with early childhood and its importance in the development of a person’s life. Earlier this year, Kate launched the Shaping Us campaign, a project particularly close to her heart and one that she has been seen to be genuinely excited about.

In June 2021, Kate Middleton launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, a center that seeks to drive awareness and action on the extraordinary impact of the early years, with the aim of transforming society for the future.

.

To fulfill its mission, the center works with people from the private, public and voluntary sectors and seeks to develop creative campaigns to raise awareness and inspire action, driving real, positive change in the early years.

Shaping Us is a new long-term campaign from the Royal Foundation‘s Center for Early Childhood that launches alongside the release of new hard data the center has tallied around the issue.

Since its launch, the Center’s work has brought this vital issue to the world stage abroad through visits to Denmark and Jamaica. According to the center’s official website, Prince William’s wife urges parents to “provide loving, safe and secure homes for their babies and young children to thrive.”
