Camilla Parker, Queen Consort, will have the same level of power previously held by Queen Elizabeth II during her upcoming reign in the United Kingdom.
The most awaited coronation, King Charles III’s crowning, will take place in about two months. He will become the new monarch of the United Kingdom and 15 Commonwealth Realms after Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year-mandate, who died of natural causes in 2022.
Charles will be crowned in a ceremony attended by almost two thousand guests, including their close family and probably his son, Prince Harry, with whom he has had a feud in recent months. Camilla Parker is going to honor her husband, right after being crowned in the same event.
The most surprising thing is that after the ceremony takes place and both of them are crowned, Camilla could be on the same level as Queen Elizabeth II. It has been reported that she is not going to receive the title of “Queen Consort” as it should be but will be crowned as the new “Queen.”
Clearly, the news has generated discord among the firstborns of the monarch as they think crowing Camilla as a Queen is unfair. They had previously referred to her as “evil stepmother” because she was the mistress of their father and ruined the relationship between the King and the late Princess Diana, Harry and William’s mother.
