Shakira has been in the spotlight recently after having to deal with an uncomfortable scenario involving the Spanish police forces as a result of the lack of restraint that is encouraged when the singer performs at her lavish gatherings.
In addition to throwing a party to honor her birthday and lessen the sorrow of her breakup with Gerard Piqué, the singer Shakira did so on February 2. But the singer was punished following a night of drinking and loud music.
It had an impact on Gerard Piqué’s parents, who are now the neighbors of the Colombian singer and her two kids.
The Spanish authorities summoned Shakira, who has achieved enormous popularity with her most recent singles in which she criticizes Gerard Piqué directly, to give them an explanation for her out-of-control party.
According to police sources: “The agents who intervened did not have to use the sound meter to confirm that the noise that people were making inside the Colombian’s house was disturbing her neighbors, among others, Gerard Piqué’s parents”.
Shakira attempted to explain the purpose of her party to the police, but she was unable to avoid being fined 300 euros, or about 320 dollars, for her callous behavior in hosting parties on weekdays.
