Wednesday has been in show business for many generations and has been of great importance, having many actresses who have played her in a successful way.
Recently it has been reported the unfortunate passing of Lisa Loring, at the age of 64. The actress played the first-ever Wednesday Addams in a television classic that premiered between 1964 and 1966, based on Charles Addams’ cartoons that were published by the New Yorker magazine for more than 50 years.
Laurie Jacobson, a close friend of the actress, revealed the death via Facebook:
“It is with great sadness that she reported the death of our friend Lisa Loring. 4 days ago she suffered a massive stroke brought on by smoking and high blood pressure. She had been on life support for 3 days. Yesterday, her family made the difficult decision to remove it and she passed away last night. She is embedded in the tapestry that is pop culture and in our hearts always as Merlina Addams,” he wrote.
“Beautiful, kind, a loving mother, Lisa’s legacy in the entertainment world is enormous. And the legacy to her family and friends a great deal of humor, affection and love will remain in our memories for a long time to come. Rest in Peace Lisa, Damn girl you were a lot of fun!” she concluded.
