Sports always have a great risk, especially people who are involved in high speeds, high altitudes or risky situations. A few moments ago, it was announced the sad death of Federico Gutierrez, Mexican NASCAR driver, at the age of 17, in a car accident last Sunday, January 29.
According to information, the young man perished in a traffic accident when he was driving on the Toluca-Valle de Bravo toll road, where he collided with a Ford Explorer in which two people were traveling. The incident occurred at approximately 8 o’clock at night. The pilot was accompanied by his brother Max Gutiérrez at the time of the tragedy.
Apparently the NASCAR driver lost his life at the scene, while his brother was taken to the General Hospital of Valle de Bravo by helicopter.
In the other vehicle involved, an 80 year old man and his 65 year old wife were traveling; it is known that one of them was also taken to the clinic.
After what happened, Max informed on his social networks that his brother’s funeral will be held today, at 5 p.m., at J. García López Casa Pedregal.
“Thank you all very much for your messages, support and understanding in these difficult moments. At 5:00 pm a mass will be held at J. García López Casa Pedregal to say goodbye to Fico,” she indicated through her Instagram account.
