Although Shakira and Gerard Pique ended their 12-year relationship almost six months ago, the controversy surrounding their breakup continues, especially after the Colombian singer released a song against her ex-partner and new girlfriend.
In the song, Shakira compared herself to a Ferrari and Pique’s new girlfriend, Clara Chia, to a Renault Twingo, generating a lot of controversy, to which the high-performance athlete joined when he appeared at the Kings League in a white Twingo.
However, what attracted the most attention was the license plate that the car had, claiming that it would not be just any license plate, because it would have a hidden message that would refer to the date on which Shakira and Piqué stopped living together.
According to some TikTok users, the license plate of Piqué’s white Twingo, ‘2511MDJ’, means November 25, the date on which Shakira and her two children stopped living with the retired soccer player, added to the fact that the acronym ‘MDJ’ means: “Me dejó-He left me”. This results in the phrase ‘On November 25 he left me’.
Although publicly the couple has never revealed the date on which they ended their relationship, the Spanish media began to spread on November 25, 2022 that Shakira had left the home she shared with Piqué.
It should be noted that according to some Spanish media, Gerard Piqué met with his team of lawyers to see the possibility of filing a lawsuit against his ex-partner, due to the references he made about him and his girlfriend Clara Chía.
