Right before Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were expelled from the Royal Family, they had the chance to be part of a Christmas celebration in the Buckingham Palace, and as family members, they took part in the traditional exchange of gifts on Christmas morning, but Prince William wasn’t as nice as they thought he would be.
We found out about this incident thanks to the team of royal biographers Caroline Durand and Omid Scoby, who wrote the successful biography book “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan” based on the couple’s experience with the Royals and the time they spent among them.
As told in the book, Meghan was the one in charge of giving Prince William a Christmas present in one of the many parties that were organized for the holidays, and as an attempt to break the ice and create a comedic atmosphere, she decided to give him a cutlery set with the text: “Cereal Killer”, which is a pun for “Serial Killer”. And much to her surprise, a lot of the attendants liked the joke.
However, the one person who was supposed to like the gift did not like it as much, even though the gift was very well thought and was appropriate for the occasion. It’s possible that the gift was received so badly, that it could be one of the reasons for Prince William and Kate Middleton to start the alleged defamation campaign against Meghan from their offices in Kensington.
