The barranquillera made a statement with a message dedicated to Amir Nasr-Azadani, who will be executed by the authorities for collaborating in the protests demanding respect for women’s rights in his country. The singer said:

The mother of Milan and Sasha had also communicated one of the reasons why she did not feel it was important to attend the World Cup in that country, “The World Cup and Christmas cannot be more important than human life, women’s rights, and those voices that others forcibly want to silence.
