The top two on the list are in Spanish and the reggaeton genre, although it should be noted that the list is very varied in terms of genres.

These are the best songs of 2022, KPOP is disappointed.

Just as it placed Bad Bunny’s ‘Un verano sin ti’ in the first place of the best albums of the year, the prestigious magazine positioned the Boricua with ‘Tití me preguntó’ on the first step of the best songs. However, it is not the only Spanish-language reggaeton song to surprise on the list

Time

The author of the article published by Time assured that internally they have a rule of not repeating the same artist on both lists, however, this year they had to break with tradition due to the perfection of Bad Bunny’s album and song:

“‘Un verano sin ti’ is an impeccable collection from top to bottom, and ‘Titi me pregunto’ is his crown jewel: boisterous exuberance that blows the horns and rolls in hard. Bad Bunny wields his magnificent voice in all its forms, through slick fast verses and sludgy chants; he makes even his gasps sound sexy,” he wrote.

bestThe number one song of 2022 is followed by ‘Delincuente’ by Tokischa, Anuel and Ñengo Flow. According to Time’s analysis,

“it’s full of sassy and sometimes ridiculous double entendres that create a heady playfulness, driven in turn by a bouncy beat. But it’s Tokischa’s irrepressible, irresistible energy and powerful rock-influenced vocals that make the song stand out.

At number three on the list is ‘Part of the band’ by British band The 1975, followed by ‘FNF (Let’s go) by rapper GloRilla and Hitkidd. At number five is ‘Bad habit’ by Steve Lacy, while at number six is ‘ChevyS10’ by American violinist Sudan Archive.

For the seventh spot, Time selected ‘Finesse’ by Pheelz featuring BNXN, which is also a sensation on the Tik Tok platform.

Sam Smith‘s ‘Unholy’ featuring Kim Petras came in eighth.

Finally, the last two places on the list went to indie pop and country: ‘Kind of girl’ by MUNA and ‘Jack’ by Hardy.
