On November the 20th, a Beijing court sentenced the singer and former EXO member Kris Wu to 13 years in jail after finding him guilty of rape and organizing an orgy. The Canadian-chinese singer will be deported from China likely after serving his jail sentence
Kris has been found guilty of raping 3 women between November to December of 2020. The court in the district of Chaoyang stated, “Wu Yi Fan took advantage of 3 drunken women… in his home.”Â
For the horrible rapes and orgy charges, he was sentenced to 13.5 years in jail for rape and 1.5 years for organizing an orgy in July of 2018.Â
The State Taxation Administration of China also revealed Kris Wu evaded 170 million Yuan ($23,722,143.40 USD) in taxes and will be fined 600 million Yuan ($83,725,212.00 USD).
The first to accuse him was student Du Meizhu, who last year posted on social media that she had met Wu two years earlier, when she was 17. She said she had been invited to a house party, where she was pressured to drink alcohol, and had woken up in his bed the next day.
Wu denied the claims, but at least 24 other victims accused him of abuse.
