Since 2016 BLACKPINK has become one of the most recognized girl bands in the world. The members saw their dreams come true as they spent the years under the YG Entertainment label. Now, the idols are international figures and with great influence in the world.

However, some are curious to know how they prepared themselves professionally to become what they are today.

Jennie had a great opportunity to study in it as an exchange student in New Zealand at ACG Parnell College, it is said that she had the option to go to the United States to continue her higher studies. However, she returned to Korea and studied at Chungdam High School, and trained for 5 years and 11 months at YG.

Rosé, despite having Korean parents, was born in New Zealand and studied at Canterbury Girls Secondary School in Melbourne, she also learned to play the guitar from a very young age. She passed YG’s trainee recruitment audition at 15 years old, then moved to Korea to further her musical talents.

Lisa, born in Thailand, practiced dancing since she was a child, a record indicates that she trained in a dance academy and participated in the We Zaa Cool dance group. Also, I study high school at the school called Praphamontree. She was later summoned as a YG trainee and despite not knowing the language she traveled to South Korea.

Jisoo, at the time she finished high school, but her study center has not been made public. Before her teens, the BLACKPINK member practiced taekwondo. Then, just like Jennie, she was a YG trainee for almost 5 years, and studied acting classes.
